Jakarta - PT Cella Management Logistik (CML) is constructing a modern warehouse complex spanning 9.7 hectares in Cakung-Cilincing, East Jakarta. The project is targeted to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

Deddy Stiady, the GM of Business Development at Cella Management Logistik, stated that the presence of this warehouse will be able to accommodate various industries and provide greater benefits to the surrounding community.

"In general, the warehouse construction process is expected to create job opportunities and contribute to the local economy in the logistics and real logistics sectors," said Deddy in his statement on Sunday (June 11, 2023).

The existence of this warehouse is expected to offer better options for tenants to enhance security, storage, and shorten distribution distances.

"In the end, this is expected to reduce logistics costs, including transportation, and improve the speed of the supply chain. Moreover, with shorter distribution distances, vehicle emissions can be reduced," said Deddy.

Siong Lie, the Director of Project at Cella, added that the construction phase of the warehouse is planned to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

"While the entire project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025. With carefulness and caution in the construction process, we are confident in achieving this target," he added.
